Conclusions & Future Work:   Using high spatial resolution imagery provides an excellent way to gain information about the urban environment.  This project was successful in identifying areas for infill development.  The fact that “visual ground truthing” is the only real way to assess every area classified, it becomes labor intensive.  This poster lists the five most obvious sites.  The next step is to visit each site to further determine its land use and potential for development.    Property ownership maps, zoning codes, building regulations, and a market analysis should be obtained before any development takes place.
